Macronutrients are the nutrients that your body needs in large amounts, which include fat, carbohydrates, and protein. Each macronutrient has a unique set of properties that influence health.  When eaten in the right ratios, these Big 3 macronutrients can improve your weight, health, and overall physical well-being. To improve workouts, digestion and health we must learn how much, when, and what to eat. It is important that you get nutrients in the hours around exercise. If you don't eat before exercise, try to eat soon after exercise. Keep in mind that some foods fuel your workout, others slow you down. Stay well hydrated before, during, and after exercise.
